Miles 4 Mind - Lee Collins Memorial

 Hi All! Time for an update!  It's now just under 3 weeks until I take part in the Wincanton Triathlon (part one of my fundraiser)!  I guess I am as ready as I'll ever be - the running will be so-so, hopefully the cycling will be OK but the swimming is going to be very slow!  I just can't do front crawl! On the plus side - I have achieved and surpassed my fundraising target of £444 in memory of Lee Collins!  So thank you for those who have donated, and thanks in advance to those who are planning on doing so :-) I received the information pack about the Lee Collins Memorial Ride (part two of my fundraiser) today - makes it all the more real and daunting in equal measure!  Hopefully we can do him and his family proud and raise a stack load of money for Mind In Somerset in his memory!   Hi All, It's that time again - time to raise some money by getting out and doing something new! This year, I've upped the ante by signing up to do 3 individual challenges.  The aim is to raise (at least) £444 for Mind in Somerset.  I am doing it in memory of Yeovil Town Captain, Lee Collins, who sadly took his own life in March last year.  I'd like to think that my small contribution to the charity will help to ensure that the service and listening ear is there for people who need it in the future. www.justgiving.com/george-wall8 Challenge 1 - April 24th Wincanton Triathlon - This is a new one for me.  I've never done a triathlon before!  I can't swim very well and I'm not all that keen on running to be honest.  Hopefully the cycling part will be OK!
